Turtle Wax Launches Hydrophobic Spray Coating in India After 80 Years
The automotive care brand debuts Hybrid Solutions Pure Bead, a streak-free spray coating designed for India's demanding weather conditions.

Turtle Wax India has introduced its advanced spray coating product, Hybrid Solutions Pure Bead, to the Indian market as the company marks eight decades in the automotive surface care industry. The product is positioned as a high-performance water repellent solution engineered specifically for challenging road and weather conditions.
The spray coating creates a hydrophobic barrier that causes water to bead and roll off vehicle surfaces quickly, preventing moisture, dust, and road grime from adhering to painted panels. According to the company, this reduces how frequently vehicles need washing and simplifies regular maintenance for car owners.
The product distinguishes itself through simplified application that eliminates common issues with ceramic spray coatings. Users can apply it directly to vehicle surfaces and wipe clean with a microfiber cloth without concerns about streaking or uneven coverage, regardless of the amount used.
Dibya Swarup Panigrahi, Marketing Director for Turtle Wax India and ASEAN, noted that Indian vehicle owners face distinct environmental challenges including intense sunlight, monsoon seasons, and airborne dust. The new product works across multiple surface types including gloss and matte paint, vinyl wraps, glass, and plastic trim.
The launch aligns with a visit to Bengaluru by Turtle Wax Global CEO Laurie King, who discussed the brand's expansion plans in India. The company currently operates more than 110 co-branded car care studios nationwide and intends to add over 50 additional locations in the next year. Pure Bead is available through Amazon India and will reach Turtle Wax studios and retail partners during the Diwali season.
